Sandra Karen Fuller, of Helena, MT passed away peacefully, in the arms of her beloved children on March 25th, 2024. She was 68 years old.
Sandy was born on February 16th, 1956 in Provo, UT to Lorraine Beck and Donald Wade Beck. She was raised by her grandparents, Julia lone Fuller and Alfred Leroy Fuller, along with her siblings, Illene, Deborah, Donald, and Patricia. She spent the beginning of her formative years in foster care before her grandparents adopted her. She had a close bond with all of her siblings and also shared a deep bond with her grandfather, Alfred. The family owned a burger restaurant called The Polar King right next to their primary residence and as a young teenager, Sandy worked alongside her grandfather where she was taught to have a strong work ethic. The family were devout members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and she also attended seminary school as a young teenager. She attended Cyprus High School in Magna, UT and graduated in 1974. Shortly after graduating high school, she attended cosmetology school at International Beauty College #3 where she began her career as a cosmetologist and her life-long passion, devoting 49 years of her life to the industry.
Shortly after starting her career, she married Freddy Michael Archuleta and over the next few years, she welcomed two children into her home, Adam and Wendy. Sandy set about showing them true unconditional love and unwavering compassion which would eventually shape them into the people they are today. Her surviving children remember her as a woman who cherished and loved her family deeply and a pillar of support and strength. Her two children were her legacy and greatest accomplishments in life, in which she was very proud of.
As Sandy was looking to make a life change, she met and married Jerry Leonard Goetz and in 1986, they relocated to Helena, MT where she raised her two children. She became a prominent figure in the Helena community as a devoted cosmetologist. She spent many years working at Hennessy's, Dillards, and Capital Hill Barbershop and Salon. She developed many close connections and friendships within the industry and community that she deeply valued and cherished.
Sandy passed away peacefully in the arms of her beloved children due to an acute ischemic stroke. She will be remembered as a devoted mom and grandma, a loving sister, a caretaker to her beloved dog, Scout, a hard-working selfless woman, and a caring friend.
